Calle Rio Turia 6

Moraira

We are now in the perfect time to slow down, reset and nourish the body and mind after the busy holiday season.

There are three fundamental energies in Ayurveda, known as the three doshas – Vata, Pitta, Kapha, which are always present in the atmosphere and our physical bodies. Atumn and winter are Vata season and this dosha with its qualities Air and Space tend to go out of balance this time of the year.

Khichdi (also referred to as Kitchari) which means ‘mixture’ is a balanced and healing meal, comforting the body especially during this season. It is also part of a cleansing and diet program and used in Ayurveda to give the body and mind a nourishing boost as it is warm, soothing, nutritious, has a lot of protein and is easy to digest.

Khichdi consists of basics as basmati rice, mung beans or lentils simmered in fresh aromatic spices as turmeric, cumin seeds, ginger, black pepper and more.

During these 2 hours workshop you will learn how to prepare your own healthy meal in three different ways using 3 main ingredients combined with seasonal vegetables and healing spices.
